Candy: Chocolate Labrador with mobility problems

Elin adopted eight year old Candy from a friend who is a breeder of Chocolate Labradors. Elin knew that Candy was not perfectly fit, but this did not deter her.
Two weeks after adopting Candy Elin was woken up in the early hours of the morning with the most awful squealing from Candy… Candy was unable to move.
A couple of hours later Elin took her to the vets and they immediately prescribed pain killers. She was told that Candy had arthritis.
Despite putting Candy on painkillers, she was still in pain, so Elin decided to do research online and discovered Mobile Bones. She decided to give it ago and according to Elin one month after on Mobile Bones Candy seemed a lot more comfortable. Two months later Elin noticed that jumping stopped causing discomfort to her. Eight months later Candy is like a young dog and she does not struggle to keep up with Elin's three year old lab.

Customer Survey Results

At Pooch & Mutt we value our customers and their opinion. A couple of weeks ago we have decided to conduct a short customer survey to see what our customers have to say about us and our products. We have gotten in touch with all of the customers that we have had throughout the year and we asked them five simple questions: Would you recommend Pooch & Mutt products to other people? Would you buy Pooch & Mutt products again? How often do you use Pooch & Mutt products? How did you found out about Pooch & Mutt products? What do you like the most about Pooch & Mutt products?

We have just finished analyzing the results this morning and we were quite pleased with what we have learned. We have learned that 100% of respondents would recommend our products to other people and 100% of respondents would buy our products again. Over 86% of our customers use Pooch & Mutt products regularly. It was also interesting to learn that over 38% respondents stated that they have learned about our products as a result of print media. The same number of respondents have stated that they have learned about Pooch & Mutt through online media. 9% said that they have learned about us as a result of friend's recommendation. We were quite pleased to learn that people from learn about our products through many different media channels. To download survey results click here.

Jack: Rough Collie with stiff joints and mobility problems

Jack is a Rough Collie. He is 11 years old and is very active. Mary thinks that Jack does not realize that he is 11! Mary wrote to us and informed that last year Jack began limping on his front leg and was quite stiff getting up. After countless of vet visits, Mary was recommended to start giving Jack pain killers, but she did not want to do so. After learning about Mobile Bones in one of the dog magazines, Mary decide to give it a try. Jack has been on Mobile Bones ever since and he stopped limping and struggling up. Mary is happy because Jack is back to ball chasing and he has no objection to eating it.

Wil and Bruce: Kelpies with joint problems

In the picture above you can see Wil and Bruce, Sarah's two Kelpies. Wil is eight years old and Bruce is twelve years old. Sarah informed us that Will has had a cruciate ligament operation this year and she was also informed by the the vet that Wil had arthritis on the joint. Sarah's vet told her that  Will will have to be Metacam for the rest of his life. Her other dog, Bruce, has had arthritis and stiffness in his front legs. Sarah told us that Bruce's mobility earlier in the year was so bad he had a limit of 20 min exercise a day.
Sarah started giving them on the Mobile Bones and according to her over the next three months they both gradually improved. 6 months later, Wil is completely off his ‘Metacam’ and they are both enjoying two hour walks across Dartmoor.

Rusty: Dog With Dry, Itchy Skin

David's dog used to itch and scratch constantly, which resulted in sore, dry and bloody skin as well as lost of hair. David's friend recommended him to try Bionic Bionic, but David was skeptical at first. He tried many other products before, but nothing seemed to help, but because his friend swore by it, David decided to order a sample pack to see whether his dog will take it.
David's dog, Rusty, can be very fussy and he was worried that she will not like the product, but he was amazed when he noticed that his dog ate all of the food that had Bionic Biotic mixed in.
After about a week David started to notice that she wasn't biting or scratching as often as she used to and after another week went by scratching and biting ceased.

Blue: Neapolitan Mastiff, Great Dane Cross With Hip Discomfort

Blue is Emma's five year old Neapolitan Mastiff x Great Dane – a lovely sweet boy, who came to her as a rescue dog at only 10 months old. Within a few weeks of having him home it became clear to Emma that he was having trouble with his hips and/or back legs, and her fears were confirmed by the vet, who after x-raying him, diagnosed Blue with hip *******.
As you can imagine, this was initially quite a shattering piece of news for Emma – such a horrible thought to think of a dog so young, with his entire life ahead of him, having to live a restricted life due to this horrible condition!

Emma's vet put Blue on Metacam, that had to be taken daily initially for six weeks, and then every other day for a further six weeks, and then they had to return to the vets to reassess after this time. Emma did everything as instructed, and sure enough, Blue did improve immensely during his time on Metacam, but ahw had the ever present niggling thought at the back of her mind, that she just wasn't comfortable having her boy on such a powerful drug, which had numerous serious side affects, long term – especially since Blue was still really only a pup!

She took to her trusty friend Google, and stumbled across Mobile Bones, ordering a packet to try – Emma has never looked back. Blue has had it pretty much daily ever since, and no longer has any need for regular Metacam – he came off it completely within eight weeks of starting Mobile Bones, and now only needs the tiniest drop if he really over does things. Over the years Emma has tried numerous other joint care supplements with Blue, just out of curiosity really, but nothing hits the spot like Mobile Bones, and they always come back to it – Emma now packed in all the messing around trailing other products, and stick firmly to Mobile Bones.

Mobile Bones vs. Yumove

A couple of days ago we have noticed an interested ongoing discussion on one of the biggest pet forums in United Kingdom where people were comparing Mobile Bones to Yumove. Here is what members of Pet Forums had to say about Mobile Bones:

SixStar, forum member with over 4,684 posts has stated:

"I personally vote for Mobile Bones. It has made the absolute world of difference to my fella with hip dysplasia - since using it he has been able to come off his pain relief, and lives a perfectly normal life, and can do all the running around that he wants. I've tried several different brands with him (including Yumove) but I always come back to Mobile Bones - I don't know what makes it so good, it contains the same active ingredients as the rest of the ones on the market, but there is something about it that suits my boy down to the ground - excellent stuff! Quite palatable too, Blue is happy to take it with his food, and no tablets to fuss about with."

Several posts later Mum2Heidi, forum member with 8,241 posts, has added:

"Mobile Bones all the way here as well. I used their Bionic Biotic supplement when Heidi had an ongoing tum upset that vet meds just couldnt sort long term. When my OAP cat show signed of stiffness, I contacted Pooch and Mutt to see if she could have MB. He ok'd it and I put her on it. Within a few doses she was like a spring lamb and has been ever since. My friend dogs has luxating patella and after vet meds, she put her onto MB and she is doing great. Heidi had a limp that kept recurring. I'd rest her for a bit and it would go, then back again. Since MB - nothing and its been months now. I cant recommend it highly enough. It may have a few nondescript bits and bobs but the combination as a whole works well. For your youngster, I would probably give him a while on full dose to get it into his system and them perhaps half dose for maintenance. You can always email Pooch and Mutt - Guy is v helpful."

Henry: 11 Year Old Labrador With Stiff Joints

Judy got in touch with us to let us know how well her 11 year year old chocolate lab, Henry, was doing on Mobile Bones. Judy had him for three years and in the last year she has noticed that he had been getting increasingly stiff with occasional lameness.
Henry loves the water and sometimes overdoes things, but Judy didn't want to limit his enjoyment on the beach or in the river too much. She tried various joint support foods, prescription medication and nutritional supplements but nothing seemed to make a noticeable difference. When she read the reviews about Pooch & Mutt products she was sceptical, but thought she would try again. According to Judy, Henry (surprisingly for a lab) had refused to eat some of the other supplements, but didn't seem to mind Mobile Bones. She started feeding it to him in July 2012.
Judy didn't see an overnight change, but gradually noticed that gradually Henry became less stiff after lying down any length of time.  After just over two months, he is moving much better even first thing in the morning, and has only had one slight episode of lameness after a more energetic than usual trip to the beach. Judy have also been feeding him with Bionic Biotic as when he came to her, he had itchy ears and chin and often chewed his paws. Itching have also calmed. He has ********** which is now under control with medication and this may be contributory to his overall health and energy levels, but Judy does feel that Pooch & Mutt products have really helped Henry's mobility in particular.

Finlay: Border Collie With Mobility Problems

Finlay is a nine year old Border Collie who, according to Chris, is a complete agility addict. When he was learning agility he was absolutely manic, Chris was even told not to bring him to the club for six months to give him chance to calm down.
Chris has noticed that in the past couple of years Finlay had calmed down remarkably, and when he developed a limp on one leg after training she gave Finlay Mobile Bones
The change is dramatic, Finlay is back to his manic self and he can train for much longer before showing signs of any problems, his recovery time if he does overdo it is greatly reduced also. To learn more about how Mobile Bones helped Finlay click here.

Sanchez: Lurcher With Runny Stools and Undiagnosed Skin Condition

Sanchez was rescued three years ago when he was around one. Jean noticed that Sanchez was very underweight and had an undiagnosed skin condition. Not being house-trained however gave Jean the biggest headache as his bowels were very loose and of course this did not help him gain weight either. Jean scoured the Internet for reports of similar problems and lit upon Pooch & Mutt’s Bionic Biotic supplement. To learn how Bionic Biotic helped Sanchez click here.
