Something For The Weekend...

The wonderful hot weather looks set to stay for the weekend (see map below), so why not venture out with your dog and make the most of the sunshine.

Waggy Walks, is an annual fundraiser created by Dogs Trust. The sponsored dog walk brings dog lovers from all around the UK to raise money to help give abandoned dogs a happier, safer life.

This years event will be taking place in 12 beautiful parks around the UK on Sunday 2nd October at 11am.

If you don't live near one of the 12 planned walks don't fret! This year you can organise your very own walk and get everyone in your area involved.

It's a great way to exercise the dogs, meet like-minded people and raise money for our furry friends in need.

Despite the wet weather, last years event raised almost £80,000 and saw thousands take part. This year should be even better with hot weather predicted for a large part of the UK.

So get involved & get Waggy Walking! Don't forget to post pictures & videos of your day to our Facebook page, we'd love to see them.
